The release of the 15th album by the band of Montreal, led by Kevin Barnes, a genius pop song maker in the American indie pop scene. This release comes in a short span of 1.5 years since the previous work "Innocent Reaches". This work features many mid-tempo and slow-tempo songs, with an even more psychedelic and druggy content. The songs invite listeners on a fantastical trip with a polyphonic approach where Kevin's voice is layered multiple times, and the album is rich in variety, including songs that use hip-hop rhythms. As can be seen from the song titles (and the album title) being in the format "Song Title / Song Title", it may be influenced by the live performances where medleys of past songs were performed during the previous Japan and Asia tours. Multiple songs are combined into one, and all songs have duality, which is an important theme of this work.
