**Japanese Stab Binding (Fukuro Toji)**This is a traditional Japanese bookbinding technique. It involves sewing the paper with thread to integrate the cover and spine into one piece.
The carefully hand-sewn notebooks have a gentle opening feel and develop a rich, familiar texture with use. Because they are sewn tightly with thread, pages are less likely to fall out, allowing for long-term use.

**The Charm of Hand-Dyed Craftsmanship**
