In 2024, celebrating the 20th anniversary of the series, this is the original soundtrack album featuring songs from the latest series installment "Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 6RR PLUS" and the previous installment "Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 6RR" of the highly popular arcade driving game "Wangan Midnight MAXIMUM TUNE." As a bonus track, it includes the Japanese vocal version of "Starry Night (Future ver.)" from "6RR," which was highly requested by users. The sound composer is Yuuzou Kodai, who has been responsible for the music throughout the series and is known as the prince of game music, with many notable works including "Ys," "Namco Cross Capcom," and "Etrian Odyssey." The original work is a manga by Michiharu Kusunoki, serialized in "Big Comic Spirits" (Shogakukan) and "Weekly Young Magazine" (Kodansha). The first series/issue was published in 1990, and it was serialized for over 18 years, with an anime adaptation aired on Sky PerfecTV! Perfect Choice in 2007.
