This is a luxurious, beautifully simple cigar-shaped fountain pen, meticulously carved from solid ebonite by skilled artisans.
A charming feature is the moist, warm texture that ebonite offers, making it a masterpiece that becomes more refined and familiar with use.
Ebonite is a hard synthetic rubber material made by adding sulfur to the highest quality natural rubber.
It is highly durable, warm to the touch, and provides a luxurious feel, making it suitable for writing instruments.
Ebonite was used as a material for making fountain pens from the early 20th century.
However, due to the complexity of its production and the popularity of easily produced plastics, its use gradually declined. Now, in homage to traditional fountain pen manufacturing, we have revived ebonite fountain pens.
The production of genuine ebonite requires many manual processes.
Therefore, there will be individual differences in pen thickness and the degree of roundness at the tip.
Furthermore, there are individual differences in the pattern of the marble design on each part, making each pen a unique, one-of-a-kind item in the world.
