WALLFLOWER/DREAMYDAYS(7")
Limited 7-inch featuring two hit songs from the debut EP "Filled With Flowers"! This is a lo-fi neo-acoustic sound with refreshing and bittersweet male-female twin vocals, reminiscent of 80s-90s C86 and Sarah Records bands. The band was formed in Osaka in 2010, inspired by the first visit of The Pains of Being Pure at Heart to Japan, and is centered around Masami Tsuchiya. Their sound resonates with new generation indie pop bands from overseas such as The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Dream Diary, and Exlovers. This limited 7-inch release couples "Dreamy Days," a representative track from their debut EP "Filled With Flowers" released this June, with "Stargirl," a tear-jerking guitar pop song that also evokes Supercar and Spitz. The sleeve features artwork by New York-based photographer Cate Schappert.
