*Chevron-shaped aerodynamic devices are a technology used to improve the aerodynamic characteristics of aircraft and vehicles.
It is an important aerodynamic device mainly attached to the rear of a vehicle to manage airflow.
By reducing airflow turbulence and smoothing airflow, drag is reduced.
Reduced drag suppresses fuel consumption, enabling efficient operation, and stabilized airflow improves maneuverability, reducing air resistance during driving and reducing body roll.
In particular, it makes it easier to feel stability during high-speed driving and strong winds, supporting comfortable driving.
Product size: 300 x 40 x 5mm. Comes in a set of 4 for those who want to try it out, with dedicated double-sided tape included.
*Downforce Generation: Generates downforce by accelerating airflow at the rear of the vehicle.
This increases tire contact pressure and improves cornering performance.
*Drag Reduction: Reduces air resistance by smoothing airflow at the rear and reducing turbulence.
This can be expected to improve fuel economy.
The shape is used on the Honda Civic Type-R and has a track record of use on the N-BOX, so it demonstrates its effectiveness even on mini vehicles.
Furthermore, a similar shape is adopted for the rear diffusers of Lexus vehicles.
*Improved Stability: Improves vehicle stability.
Increased downforce allows the vehicle to firmly grip the road, improving maneuverability.
*Increased Cooling Effect: Designed to aid in cooling the engine and brakes.
By effectively drawing in cooling air, it contributes to maintaining and improving performance.
Examples of Use: Racing Cars: Specially designed diffusers are used to utilize downforce during high-speed driving.
Sports Cars: Designed with sports driving and circuit driving in mind, emphasizing both design and performance.
It plays a very important role in the aerodynamic design of automobiles to ensure improved performance and safety.
Vehicle Shape: Some users report that the effect is easier to feel on vehicles that are inherently prone to high air resistance, such as tall minivans, mini trucks, and commercial vehicles.
