Seiya Kamei, a 20-year-old pianist who gained attention in 2019 with double wins at the PTNA Piano Competition Grand Prix and the Music Competition of Japan First Prize, and has made remarkable progress both domestically and internationally, including winning 3rd prize at the Maria Canals International Music Competition and being a semi-finalist at the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition in 2022, has released his long-awaited 1st full album "VIRTUOZO". This work includes virtuosic pieces such as Liszt's "La Campanella" and "Mazeppa," which require extreme technical skill even among the works of the "Piano Wizard," as well as "Islamey" and "Scarbo," which are said to be the most difficult piano pieces. The recording for this album was realized at Suntory Hall.
