A compilation album planned by Miles Apart Records is now available on cassette tape!
This is the first release from Miles Apart Records since the compilation album "Christmas Small Gift vol.3" released in December 2015, and it features new and unreleased songs from 6 bands associated with the label!
Side A includes "Deadbeat," an exhilarating killer surf-pop track by the highly anticipated rising stars Pale Beach, which is already available on subscription services. Pictured Resort, whose new release is eagerly awaited, contributes "Comfortable," a new danceable mid-tempo song that is already being called a masterpiece. Cairophenomenons re-recorded their popular song "Spring," originally released on a 7-inch, for this release in a new psychedelic and shimmering arrangement!
Side B features "Fake Flowers," a valuable unreleased demo song from the guitar pop band Superfriends, showcasing their excellent melody and vocals. Still Dreams, who receive many requests from overseas, contribute "Ultra Doomed," a cosmic synth-pop track that fully embodies their signature sound. Mariana in our Heads, a dream pop band featuring members also active as Solitude 2:14am, whose beat tape has been gaining attention, delivers their long-awaited new song "Past Lives"!
The artwork is by akira muracco, an emerging illustrator active in magazine covers, CD jackets, and packaging. The hand-drawn illustration, filled with an indie pop/rock atmosphere, adds a beautiful touch to this wonderful release.
