[Synopsis]
Natsume Takumi (Fuma Kikuchi) is the president of "Natsume Design," which he founded himself, and a highly skilled Class 1 architect who has worked on numerous famous buildings. Not only is he skilled in his work, but he is also handsome and lives in a high-rise apartment in Tokyo, making him a highly desirable man, acknowledged by himself and others. However, a wedding ring shines on his left ring finger... One day, Takumi is troubled when the president of an important client company, Koji Nimotoya (Shingo Tsurumi), insists that he attend an upcoming party with his wife. In reality, his marital status is a complete lie; he wears a fake wedding ring to gain the trust of Nimotoya, who believes that "a man is not a man until he is married," and to escape the annoyance of women pursuing him.
However, after a year of pretending to be married, Takumi, who has managed to evade inquiries about his fictitious wife with the help of his work colleague, garden designer Masaki Shindo (Shota Watanabe), is starting to feel the strain.
Just then, Takumi encounters a woman running in the rain who falls dramatically in front of him. "Are you okay?" As he holds out his umbrella, Takumi is stunned by the face of the woman who looks up. By chance, it is his childhood friend, Yae Chidou (Neru Nagahama), whom he secretly had feelings for when they were young.
