This is a large lot of 13 pairs of vintage Japanese Geta sandals, a traditional form of Japanese footwear. Geta are wooden sandals historically used since the Edo period to elevate the feet and provide excellent ventilation. They are composed of a flat wooden base and a fabric thong, known as a hanao, which is worn between the toes. They are typically worn with kimonos or yukatas. 👘
