This is a Mac-exclusive DVD drive compatible with all Intel Mac models, designed to meet the needs of Mac users who want to watch DVD videos on Macs without built-in DVD drives, rip music from audio CDs, or reliably save important data.

The silver finish on the top and bottom of the chassis complements Apple products. This product can be used not only with Mac models without a built-in drive but also with Macs that have a drive.

Compatible with the latest macOS, macOS Mojave (10.14).

To ensure compatibility with both older Macs with Type-A ports and the latest Macs with Type-C ports, two types of cables are included as standard: a microB to Type-C cable and a microB to Type-A cable. You can connect to your Mac with a single cable.

The tray loading mechanism is used for inserting and removing discs. This method prevents the disc surface from physically rubbing against the drive opening, allowing discs to be inserted and removed without scratching your valuable media.
