(Story)
Peter leaves the Lake District and heads alone to the big city. There, he meets Barnabas, who claims to be a close friend of Peter’s father.
Peter feels a fatherly trust in Barnabas, who is tough and resilient in the city.
However, Barnabas harbors resentment towards humans and steals vegetables and fruits from refrigerators, organizing city animals to seek revenge against humans.
One day, Barnabas plans to steal the finest dried fruits gathered from markets across Britain.
Peter, wanting to be recognized, recruits his sister and animal friends from the Lake District to join the plan.
Just when it seems the operation is successful, his sister and friends are captured by humans.
