Players will adventure through a realistic and dark field meticulously constructed with 3D technology, battling feelings of fear and real pressure. The basic flow of the game progresses in real-time, similar to previous titles in the series. The story explanations are kept to a minimum, with a system designed for players to determine their next actions based on the information they discover through exploration. For example, a place that was inaccessible in the early stages may become passable once weapon abilities are improved, allowing you to break through obstacles. The king took a liking to the suspicious statue and kept it by his side, but the country was engulfed by plague, and the king fell ill. However, the calamity did not subside, and the expeditionary force did not return. Ix, the successor to the throne of the neighboring country of Calcite, was distressed by the disappearance of his mentor, Cloze. On a stormy night, a mysterious person visited Ix. Saying only, "Return the statue to its rightful place and end the disaster," the person handed the Statue of Ruin to Ix and vanished without a trace. Some time later, Ix was heading for the Land of Calamity. The land was shrouded in deep darkness, standing as if to swallow those who visited. |
