| 商品の説明 （新品の場合） | 中世を思わせる幻想的な3D空間を、主人公の視点で冒険するリアルタイムRPGシリーズ第4弾。物語は、主人公イクシオン・ロズベルグがある人物から「滅びの像」を受け取り、古来からの言い伝えにより「厄災の地」に旅立つところから始まる。 プレイヤーは、3D技術によって緻密に構築された、リアリティあふれるダークなフィールドを、迫りくる恐怖心やリアルな圧迫感と戦いながら冒険することに…。基本的なゲームの流れは、これまでのシリーズと同様にリアルタイムで進行。ストーリー説明を最小限に抑え、プレイヤー自身が探索して得た情報から次の行動を決定するような仕組みになっている。 たとえば、序盤では進めなかった場所も、武器能力の上昇により障害物を壊せるようになる、というようなところがそうだ。プレイヤーの「発見する喜び」に主眼を置いた、自由度の高さが魅力のゲームだ。（中田和志） 商品紹介 「厄災の地」ヘリオドール国に一体の像がもたらされた。王は怪しげな像を気に入り傍に置いたが、国は疫病に覆われ、王も病床に伏す。森の民に関わる言い伝えに従い像を戻すべく、剣の長クローゼが遠征隊を結成、森の民の都を目指す。しかし厄災は収まらず、遠征隊も戻らなかった。隣国カルザイト王位継承者イクスは、師クローゼの消息不明に心を痛めていた。嵐の夜、イクスの下に不思議な人物が訪れる。「像をあるべき場所へ、災いを収めよ」とだけ告げると、滅びの像をイクスに渡し、何処へとも無く消えた。しばらくの後、イクスは厄災の地を目指していた。かの地は深い闇に閉ざされ、訪れる者を呑み込まんと佇んでいた。 |
