**About the Fabric:**The fabric is made from vibrant kimono and obi used on festive days in the Showa era. Some materials and weaves are rare and have already ceased production. The patterns include auspicious floral motifs, birds, gold thread embroidery, and Nishijin weaving, collected from all over Japan. Because of the high-quality raw materials, this item is only possible as a remade, upcycled product.
**About the Sewing:**Manufactured in Toyooka City, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan, the largest bag production area. It is produced by experienced bag artisans at companies that sell materials necessary for bags and have their own factories for YKK zippers. Pattern placement, orientation, and the front/back of the obi belt are decided in Tokyo. Then, molds are created at a dedicated factory, which are used to cut the fabric and sew the bag.
Kimono and obi fabrics vary in embroidery, weaving, thickness, and texture, making sewing challenging even for skilled artisans. The craft of willow basketry, inherited from the techniques of making baskets in the "Kojiki" (Ancient Records), is also part of the tradition. Under strict quality control cultivated over a thousand years, the products are carefully made.
**Important Notes for Purchase:***Fabric:* The kimono, obi, and obi cords used are previously worn or stored items. As a result, there may be creases, small stains, dirt, scratches, or deterioration. We take care to exclude these, but some may remain. Please understand that this product is a recycled, upcycled item from older materials.
*Color:* We make every effort to display accurate colors, but slight differences may occur due to monitor settings on your computer or mobile device. Please understand this in advance.
*Size:* Although cut uniformly with molds and sewn by skilled artisans, the thickness and embroidery of each kimono and obi vary. Thicker obi or heavily embroidered items may cause slight size discrepancies, such as a smaller fit. We appreciate your understanding.
*Handling:* The kimono, obi, and obi cords are presumed to be silk, but due to their used condition, this cannot be guaranteed. (The Consumer Affairs Agency states that there is no obligation to specify this on the product.) Please wash with a silk-specific detergent or consult a professional kimono cleaning service.

**After Purchase:**Except for defective products, we generally do not accept returns or exchanges. Returns or exchanges due to defects must be made within 7 days of receipt and the item must be unused.
