The Rin Sahari Haon is a handmade Rin crafted by artisans in Kyoto. It is a traditional product made by repeatedly polishing and tuning each Rin to match its individual characteristics, while discerning the subtle differences in sound produced during casting.
The "Haon" is tuned to a clear, slightly high-pitched tone.

Traditionally, a "good sound" for a Rin is considered to be a complex tone that combines a clear main resonance with a low, undulating sound.
Even a slight change in the composition of the clay used for the casting mold or the metal materials can significantly alter the sound of the product.
Only products with a sound quality deemed acceptable, based on accumulated experience and techniques passed down as secrets in the workshop, are distributed.

The dedication of Kyoto's traditional artisans, continuing since the Edo period, is imbued in this product, so that the various thoughts of the person ringing it can be carried on the "sound."

It uses "Sahari," a copper-tin alloy that has been used for Buddhist ritual instruments such as Rins since ancient times.
Specialized coloring artisans bring out the base metal's color by dipping the body in a special solution boiled from verdigris, and finally coat it with lacquer mixed with a small amount of pigment. The flavor deepens with age.

*Please note that the color may vary depending on the product due to its handmade nature.
*When cleaning, avoid using metal polish, detergents, or damp cloths. Instead, wipe dry with a soft cloth.
*Due to the nature of the product, the color and other characteristics will gradually change and gain more character over time. This does not affect the sound itself, so it is fine to continue using it as is.
*As it is made of hard metal, please be careful as it may break if dropped or subjected to strong impact.
