Wallnut, which is also popular for furniture, has the most familiar grain and color to humans among woods and is a material with excellent durability.
Using this wallnut, the final process that determines the quality of the Buddhist altar is finished by domestic craftsmen to maximize the texture (such as grain) of the wallnut, resulting in a calm color tone.

Shizuoka Prefecture began with lacquerware production during the Edo period, and by the mid-Meiji period, the production of Western-style furniture started.
The Buddhist altar began to be manufactured as a derivative of furniture in the Showa era, and production has been active up to the present, similar to furniture.

Because Gratía ⑤ has a simple design, attention is paid to small details, such as softly rounded corners, uniform paint matching each piece of wood, and carefully crafted thick and curved boards.
