Umi no Sei Yaki Shio is a nostalgic, domestically produced (Izu Oshima) traditional sea salt.
While it is very difficult to produce fully refined grilled salt that contains the bitterness component, we have recreated the ancient manufacturing method passed down at the Shio-den Shrine in Ise Jingu to produce an authentic grilled salt rich in minerals unique to "Umi no Sei."
It contains a well-balanced amount of minerals from seawater, resulting in a rich, mild flavor.
It is ideal as a seasoning salt for table use.
Suitable for salads, tempura, and other dishes.

Raw materials and manufacturing locations are both within Japan. However, this excludes cases where ingredients such as spices that cannot be cultivated in Japan, or sesame seeds with extremely limited production, are used out of necessity.

Agricultural products are used without pesticides or chemical fertilizers, and are non-GMO, seasonal, and open-field grown. Marine products are sourced from nearby natural waters. Livestock products are generally not used. No chemical additives or pharmaceuticals are used at all.
