● Sparkling Stream Pattern
This is the first product in the Urushima brand and has been loved for many years.
The traditional technique called "Byakudan-nuri," which involves applying lacquer over patterns drawn with gold and silver leaf or powder, is used.
In the Byakudan series of Urushima, a unique "Urushi Nagashi" (lacquer flowing) technique is employed to sprinkle gold dust, creating a shimmering pattern reminiscent of flowing water.

Immediately after finishing, the color is a deep amber, but over time, depending on the environment and frequency of use, the hue gradually lightens at various speeds.
Lacquerware made from natural materials offers the joy of aging and developing character, similar to denim.

The cup body is made of 18-8 stainless steel, shaped and polished in Tsubame-Sanjo, Niigata Prefecture.
The upper interior is finished with a mirror polish, while the lower part features spiral polishing marks, which produce a rich, creamy foam when pouring beer.
The double structure prevents water droplets from sticking and provides excellent insulation.
While utilizing the functionality of stainless steel, the exterior is finished with lacquer, adding a moist texture and a soft mouthfeel.

Echizen Washi is made in the Okata River basin area of Echizen, Fukui Prefecture.
The main raw materials are plant inner bark fibers such as kozo (paper mulberry), mitsumata, and gampi.
Echizen Washi is characterized by its elegant, natural color (kina-iro) that stimulates the senses and its high quality.
