The seventh album from U.S.GIRLS, the solo project of singer Meg Remy! Meg Remy, a talented female artist from Chicago, USA, now based in Toronto, releases her seventh album under the project U.S.GIRLS through 4AD.

Her previous album, *In A Poem Unlimited* (2018), showcased a wide range of musical styles, from 60's girl group pop and 80's disco sounds to lo-fi pop and synth pop. It received high praise from numerous media outlets, earned a Best New Music designation from Pitchfork, and was selected as one of the "Top 200 Albums of the 2010s," marking a major breakthrough in her career.

This new album, her first in two years, was entirely self-produced by Remy. It features co-writing collaborations with Canadian singer-songwriter and autoharp player Basia Bulat, as well as producer and remixer Rich Morel. The recording took place live at Montreal's Hotel2Tango studio with 20 session musicians, including Jake Clemons, a renowned saxophonist known for his work with Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band.

The album includes 13 tracks, reworking three previously released early recordings: "Statehouse (It’s A Man’s World)," "Red Ford Radio," and "Overtime." Each song exhibits a distinct style, ranging from art pop and disco to glam rock, resulting in a richly varied collection.
