A 4-piece Icelandic indie band influenced by various music, including 60s UK pop-rock.
Their predecessor was the Baghdad Brothers, who won numerous domestic music awards shortly after their debut.
After the dissolution of Baghdad Brothers, Supersport! was formed around the songwriting duo of guitarist Bjarni Daniel and bassist Thora Birgit, with the addition of Dagur Reykdal and Hugi Kjartansson.
The four members are also active as organizers of Post-dreifing, an art self-help community for young local artists,
and are influencing Reykjavik's grassroots music scene.
They released their debut EP "Dog Run" in July 2020, captivating local music critics and fans.
Icelandic magazine "The Reykjavik Grapevine" called them "Reykjavik's most charming indie pop group."
In 2021, they are scheduled to perform at Iceland's largest music festival, Iceland Airwaves.
