"Bonobono," a young sea otter, and other forest animals with strong personalities, such as Chipmunk and Raccoon, star in this original "healing" animal gag anime!
The original manga began serialization in '86 and has been supported for 20 years, with over 8.5 million copies sold, making it a long-selling comic!
"Are you going to bully me?" "I won't bully you..." The gags, born from unique pacing, are even described as philosophical, and the series became a huge hit, winning the Kodansha Manga Award in '88.
This work, like the theatrical film "Bonobono" released in '92, was produced by the long-established Group TAC and aired on TV Tokyo for one year starting in '95 as a family-friendly animal gag animation.
There have been constant requests for a DVD release on the official website and through reader surveys, making this the long-awaited first DVD for fans.
BOX 1 is a 4-disc DVD set containing episodes 1 through 24 (approx. 70 minutes per disc, approx. 280 minutes total).
