Unlike regular sinkers, the line passes freely through the slit in the center of the body.
Because the sinker body does not wobble during casting,
unintended tangles are drastically reduced.
It is also useful when the bite is tough,
and you don't want to transmit the weight of the sinker directly to the fish.

Equipped with a V-groove on the opposite side of the line slit
