TwixT: A Board Game Inspired by Go
The timeless masterpiece "TwixT," which has been loved by many fans since its debut in 1962, is revived as a GP Original version! This is a two-player abstract game created by the renowned game designer Alex Randolph, who was inspired by Go during his stay in Japan, making it a work with deep ties to Japan.
The game rules of "TwixT" are extremely simple. Players take turns, one move at a time, placing pegs (sticks) onto the board. If your own pegs are positioned vertically one and horizontally two (or vertically two and horizontally one) from each other, you can connect them with a bridge. The objective is to connect your own colored lines, drawn on the left and right sides (or top and bottom) of the board, using these pegs and bridges.
However, despite its simple rules, the strategy is profound, and you will discover new moves and possibilities with each game.
