Asakura Carving Shop and R-STYLE collaborated to promote local crafts.
It is said that Sanuki (Kagawa) transom carvings were passed down by carpenters from Hida who served Lord Matsudaira Yorishige.
And gradually, they became popular in ordinary households.
The Sanuki transom carvings, finished carefully by craftsmen one by one, feature delicate craftsmanship utilizing the beautiful grain of white wood, exuding a sense of historical elegance.
We aimed to create a special item that only professional wood artisans can produce.
Because chopsticks are used every day, more people are becoming particular about them.
We ensure safety, peace of mind, and health considerations at the tips of the chopsticks, which come into contact with food, to the extent that it can be said "Chopsticks are food".
For these reasons, we recommend choosing handmade chopsticks over mass-produced ones.
Based on the long experience of craftsmen, the tips and handles are adjusted to match the appropriate thickness and weight of the wood used, aiming to create user-friendly chopsticks.

Finished with an acrylic-based pre-polymer (approved under the Food Sanitation Law).
While it involves some effort, please avoid using dishwashers and dish drying machines.
