前作から2年4ヶ月振り！待望の2ndフルアルバムが遂に完成！
1stフルアルバム『日記を燃やして』のリリース後、「宝物を探して」の配信リリースはありつつも、様々なアーティストとのコラボや楽曲提供のニュースが続いていた橋本絵莉子だが、フルアルバムとしては実に2年4ヶ月振りとなる2ndフルアルバム『街よ街よ』が遂に完成。前作『日記を燃やして』は、日記に綴られた生活の中での出来事や感じたことを燃料にして制作されが、本作では、どこかの街のあちこちで起こる出来事を書き記したような楽曲たちが収録されており、それは街の住人のある日の出来事のようで、橋本自身の一日でもあり、聴く人が日頃感じていることかもしれない。生活と音楽が地続きであることに変わりはないが、今日からその先へと続いていく日々を別の角度から捉えた、これもまた橋本絵莉子らしさであると感じられるアルバムとなっている。配信シングル「宝物を探して」に加え、2022年10月に開催されたソロ初のワンマンツアー“燃やして探してツアー2022”で演奏された、本作で初の音源化となる「離陸 ~Live at Namba Hatch, Osaka, Oct, 17, 2022~」 のライブ音源を含む全11曲を収録。
