By adopting a manufacturing method where the mushroom-shaped spiral high-efficiency light-emitting tube is housed in a resin globe that is integrated by ultrasonic welding after assembly, the neck part has a "waist" similar to an incandescent bulb, and the light emits from the base of the socket. In addition, compared to TOSHIBA's conventional products (*3), the illuminance directly below has increased, resulting in light distribution characteristics closer to an incandescent bulb.
