Hiroshima Bus, which celebrated its 70th anniversary, operates route buses and charter buses mainly in Hiroshima City.
The prototypes being commercialized this time are a set of two current route buses: a 2009 custom-ordered Nishinippon Shatai Kogyo 96MC one-step bus and the Isuzu Erga non-step bus "Pinpo-san Go," a concept bus that appeared to commemorate the 70th anniversary, belonging to the Yoshijima Garage. The official character Pinpo-san, who appeared to commemorate Hiroshima Bus's 70th anniversary, is based on the "stop request button" found inside the bus.
The character design was handled by "IC4 DESIGN," a design company located in Hiroshima.
