We have received the historically significant masterpiece "LS-120 Reborn OLD," meticulously crafted by Tokai during the golden age of Japanese guitar manufacturers.
The "Reborn OLD" model, produced for a very short period from late 1979 to early 1980, was created with carefully selected woods and manufacturing methods, aiming to be a complete clone of the Gibson Les Paul. This instrument boasts a level of perfection that surpasses even the original, positioned as a top-tier model in the regular lineup at the time. It remains a representative model of Japan Vintage with extremely high recognition even today.

The top wood is maple, which, while appearing as a plain top reminiscent of a '58 Les Paul at first glance, also reveals subtle flame figuring depending on the angle, offering a deep visual richness. Its charm lies in its vintage-like, substantial presence, different from the flashy figured maple seen in recent years.

The fingerboard is made of rosewood, but it is so black and lustrous that it could be mistaken for ebony, demonstrating the high level of care taken in wood selection at the time.
The pickups have been replaced with "'57 Classic," which are also used in custom shop models. Combined with the finish and the quality of the wood construction, it achieves a level comparable to custom shop Les Pauls.
A brown, genuine hard case, seemingly made with the original in mind, is also included. The neck is straight, and with approximately 70% of the frets remaining, the condition is excellent.
Coupled with its short production period, this is a rare piece that collectors must see, as its evaluation and value as a vintage instrument are increasing year by year.
