◆ Uses beans from Guatemala's highest grade SHB, Palo Blanco farm.
Palo Blanco farm is located on a mountain slope at an altitude of about 1700m, with coffee trees spaced appropriately and shade trees. The soil allows weeds to grow, maintaining a rich ecosystem that emphasizes natural forces. The third-generation farm owner, Ivan, switched to organic farming after experiencing a large-scale rust outbreak in Guatemala in 2011, wanting to restore the farm to health.
Guatemalan coffee is classified into 7 grades by altitude, and Palo Blanco farm, located at a high altitude of approximately 1700m, is classified as the highest grade, SHB (*). They also engage in social activities, such as donating to repair roofs and purchase desks for local schools.
(*) SHB (Strictly Hard Bean) is the highest quality product, grown at altitudes above 1,350m.
◆ Limited Art Package "Artisan Series"
The "Artisan Series" is a limited edition art package with pop and cute designs created by unique artists from the welfare facility/studio "Kiki!! CREATIVE," which aims to create a society where people with various disabilities can thrive in their passions and strengths, living creatively and joyfully.
"Artisan" means "craftsman" in English. This series is named in honor of the craftsmanship of producers who deliver "deliciousness" and "emotion" without sparing effort, and the artists of Kiki!! CREATIVE who create one-of-a-kind designs. Through collaboration with Kiki!! CREATIVE, it creates jobs not only for overseas producers but also for people with various disabilities in Japan.
◆ How to Use
Pour water into a pitcher or personal bottle, and once it reaches your desired strength (approximately 6-8 hours), remove the bag. It's also recommended for your office or hiking trips in a personal bottle.
1 bag + 250ml water... for a rich, full-bodied coffee.
1 bag + 350ml water... for a smooth, easy-drinking coffee.
Since it is difficult to extract with cold water, please use room temperature water.
It can be enjoyed iced, or warmed up for a hot beverage.
