The sequel to the hit work based on the original by Mari Yamazaki and starring Hiroshi Abe, "Thermae Romae II," has set its release date for April 26, 2014, "Good Bath Day!" In this installment, Lucius, who is troubled by the creation of new baths, time slips to modern Japan once again. He reunites with Shinjitsu, played by Aya Ueto, who has now become a writer for a bath magazine. Meanwhile, a crisis that shakes the Roman Empire unfolds due to the conflict between Emperor Hadrian, who advocates for peace, and the Senate, who favor military action.
The theme song has been decided to be "Nessun Dorma" by Russell Watson, a leading British vocalist, continuing from the previous film! The background music is powerful music by Norihito Sumitomo, and the ancient Roman scenes are adorned with magnificent and powerful spectacle screens, featuring numerous classical masterpieces including famous opera arias!
