Four years have passed since the previous film "Movie Touken Ranbu -Keishō-" (2019), which depicted a shocking conclusion with Touken Danshi intertwined with Oda Nobunaga, Hashiba Hideyoshi, and other Sengoku warlords during the "Honnoji Incident," and recorded a major hit of 950 million yen at the box office.
