■ Story
Captain Sabinin, geologists and lovers Tanya and Andrei, and guide Sergei arrive in the vast lands of Central Siberia in search of industrial diamonds.
Having failed to mine them many times before, they are determined to succeed this time, but they cannot find any diamonds.
As autumn approaches and they begin to lose hope, they finally discover rough diamonds.
The four are overjoyed, but nature soon begins to turn against them.
