Daniel Zovatto, from Costa Rica, who appeared in "Don't Breathe," plays the young Father Tomas, Father Amorth's exorcism partner. The film is directed by Australian filmmaker Julius Avery.

● Story
July 1987 – San Sebastian Convent.
Father Amorth is summoned by the Pope himself to perform an exorcism on a possessed boy.
The boy's appearance has drastically changed. Seeing the boy speak of Father Amorth's past, which he could never have known, Amorth is convinced this is not an illness but the work of a "demon." Together with his young partner, Father Tomas, Amorth begins a thorough investigation and uncovers an old record. The religious trials conducted by the Catholic Church in medieval Europe to identify and punish heretics. An evil soul lies dormant beneath the convent.
When everything connects, a gruesome exorcism that holds the fate of the Vatican begins.
