The mellows, a 5-member mellow psych band from Osaka, have been described as Japan's answer to vaporwave.
While their latest EP, "MEMORY OF HOLO LOVE," released on January 22nd of this year, has been generating buzz in various circles, their out-of-print and hard-to-find 1st EP "The mellows e.p" and 2nd EP "Take me out of this world" are now being released on vinyl with new artwork!
Their pop sensibility crafts a mellow soundscape with a lo-fi and nostalgic feel. These are early masterpieces from the band, developing a psychedelic to dream pop sound that follows vaporwave.
