Other cast members include Monica Bellucci, known for *Spectre* (2015) and *On the Milky Road* (2016); Kane De Boe, who appeared in *U-Boat: 235 Submarine Hijacking* (2020); and the artist Wim Delvoye, whose work influenced this film, playing provocative roles.
The director previously participated in the Cannes Film Festival's "Un Certain Regard" section with *Beauty and the Dogs* (2017), which won an award for sound design.
