【Story】
▼ Chiaki Yoshino (Kyoko Koizumi), a 45-year-old single television drama producer.
She feels anxiety about the future, such as health and retirement, rather than romance.
Her current life is completely different from the future she envisioned when she started her career—balancing work and family.
Spending some relaxed time might change something...
Thinking lightly about renting an old folk house with friends for retirement, Chiaki goes to Kamakura for a preliminary look.
At that time, Chiaki meets Heiwa Nagakura (Kiichi Nakai), a 50-year-old single man working at the city hall in Kamakura.
Heiwa is a lonely man who lost his wife and has children.
▼ Set against the backdrop of the historic city of Kamakura, this bright yet bittersweet adult youth drama begins.
Will the love of these adults, who have experienced many things, reach a happy ending?
▼ The love story is complicated by Heiwa’s family.
His free-spirited and somewhat unfortunate handsome younger brother, Shinpei Nagakura (Kenji Sakaguchi), tries to court Chiaki, creating a love triangle.
Additionally, his nagging sister, Noriko Mizutani (Naoko Iijima), who is on the verge of family breakdown, envies Chiaki as a peer, and another fragile sister, Mariko Nagakura (Yuki Uchida), who struggles to harmonize with society, probes into her inner feelings.
▼ Through interactions with these distinctive characters, Chiaki and Heiwa face various obstacles but strive to find true happiness.
