★ Introduction
About a century had passed since magic was established as a real technology.
A brother and sister enroll at the National Magic University's First High School, commonly known as "First High School."
Tatsuya, the younger brother, is a student with a fatal flaw as a magic user, making him an "inferior student."
Miyuki, the younger sister, is a perfect honor student.
The siblings' school lives were filled with one upheaval after another.
Attacks by the political organization "Blanche."
Intervention by the Hong Kong-based international crime syndicate "No Head Dragon" in the Nine Schools Competition.
The invasion of Yokohama by the Great Asian Alliance Army.
The appearance of a monster parasite that possesses and transforms human minds.
And the visit of Angelina Burns Calamity, the commander-in-chief of the USNA military's magic unit Stars, also known as Angelina Kudou Shields.
As their turbulent first year ends, the lives of the two, now in their second year, begin to change gradually.
Mizuki Sakurai, sent by the Yotsuba family, begins living with Tatsuya and the others.
Tatsuya transfers to the newly established Department of Magic Engineering, commonly known as "Magic Engineering."
He was supposed to have a peaceful school life with Miyuki, but the world would not allow it...
And so, the turbulent days begin once more.
