Reissue of THECHEFS' 1981 single, featuring the frontwoman of HELENANDTHEHORNS! HELEN MCCOOKERYBOOK (real name HELEN MCCALLUM), the frontwoman of HELENANDTHEHORNS, who later became a prominent figure in the UK's '80s cow punk, neo-rockabilly, and skiffle scene, was active in the early 80s with her brother JAMES MCCALLUM and others in the legendary band THECHEFS, which released only a few 7-inch singles before disbanding.
This 1981 7-inch, originally released on ATTRIX RECORDS, is featured in the UK label OPTIC NERVE's neo-acoustic/guitar pop masterpiece reissue 7-inch series, "OPTIC SEVENS 4.0"!
