THE BEATLES/ SWEET APPLE TRAX VOLUME 2: COMPLETE STEREO REMASTER EDITION[2CD] DIGITAL ARCHIVES PROMOTION DAPB050CD1_2
For Beatles collectors, the unforgettable vintage analog masterpiece from the 1970s, *Sweet Apple Trax*, is now available in a newly remastered, expanded edition featuring the first-ever real stereo sound sources! During the 1970s, at a time when information was scarce, *Sweet Apple Trax* gained attention by including previously unreleased recordings from the Get Back sessions.
Volume 2 is an expanded version based on sources that appeared earlier on *Watching Rainbows* (1 LP) and later on *Black Album* (3 LP). It features session recordings that were initially notable as debut releases on vinyl, serving as a sequel to Volume 1. Highlights include the energetic stereo version of "Two of Us," which was memorable from the film *Let It Be*, and the captivating "I've Got a Feeling" performed with Paul’s passionate vocals, all included in uncut form.
Additional content includes the medley of *Madman* and *Watching Rainbows*, which garnered attention as unreleased Beatles tracks in the 1970s, as well as spontaneous performances of classic Beatles songs such as "Stand By Me," "Come On Everybody," and "Don't Be Cruel," among others—rock covers.
Furthermore, the set features a chaotic, over ten-minute *Feedback Jam* that begins with The Who’s "Quick One," involving guitar feedback and Yoko’s screams, creating an avant-garde, heavy improvisation that surpasses "Helter Skelter." Parts previously unreleased or edited out on analog records are significantly expanded, making this a noteworthy edition.
This release faithfully reproduces the original album content and also offers a complete separation of the original mono sources into true stereo. The upgrade from analog to stereo is striking, with a clear difference now, and the highest sound quality achieved through restoration techniques such as removing unnatural cuts and noise.
Detailed source data, previously unknown at the time, is now included, and the inner jacket reproduces various vintage analog record covers, evoking nostalgia for collectors. A parody poster of *The White Album*, included with the *Black Album* (3 LP), is also featured.
Selected from the Get Back sessions held throughout January 1969, this carefully curated collection has become a must-have classic. This latest remastered edition marks the second installment in the series, delivering the renowned *Sweet Apple Trax* in a new, expertly edited form.
