【一柳慧作品収録、邦楽四重奏団による新録音アルバム登場】
フランスのOCORAレーベル7枚目の邦人演奏家による録音として、「邦楽四重奏団」によるCDが発売される。メンバー全員が東京藝術大学邦楽科出身というこのグループの演奏は、今までとは一味違った先達の教えを守りつつ新たな地平を模索している。特筆すべきは日本の伝統的レパートリーに加えて、いわゆる民族音楽に特化しているOCORAにとって初となる現代作品とのカップリングである。「邦楽四重奏団」が作曲家自身に親しく教えを受けた一柳慧「花の変容」も同時に収録されているこのCDは伝統の再確認と未来へ繋ぐ新しい伝統を示唆する注目すべき一枚と言えよう。
