Rintaro Uchida
Born in Omuta City, Fukuoka Prefecture in 1941. He develops a unique world with his distinctive writing style. His works include "Sakasa Lion" (9th Picture Book Nippon Award winner), "Gatagoto Gatagoto" (5th Japan Picture Book Award winner), and "Usotsuki no Tsuki" (Shogakukan Children's Publishing Culture Award winner), among many others.
Nana Furuya
Born in Tokyo in 1961. Her unique artistic style combines both Japanese and Western flavors. She studied lithography at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava, Slovak Republic. (This data was published at the time of this book's release.)
