1. **Outputting data including Japanese characters:** Set to "Japanese QR Setting" on page 10 of the manual. (Default is "OFF")
2. **Reading Jan-13 with a leading "0" without removing the "0":** Set to "Convert UPC-A to EAN-13 - ON" on page 11 of the manual. (Default is "OFF")
3. **Codabar (NW-7) not readable:** Set to "Codabar (NW7) - ON" on page 14 of the manual. (Default is "OFF")
4. **Removing leading/trailing alphabets (start/stop characters) from Codabar (NW-7):** Set to "Codabar (NW7) - Do not transmit start/stop characters" on page 14 of the manual. (Default is "ON")
