創業40年を超える名店「JAZZ HOUSE alfie」は、ベテランから若手まで数多くのアーティストがライブをしたいと憧れるジャズクラブ。
そんな「JAZZ HOUSE alfie」が初の試みとしてライブレコーディング専門のレーベルを立ち上げた。
第一弾にリリースされるのは平倉初音がリーダーを務めるピアノトリオのライブレコーディング。
彼女はダイナミックに躍動するサウンドで聴衆を魅了する実力派ピアニストである。
本作では演奏はもちろん、オリジナル曲もエネルギーが溢れる楽曲でジャズの可能性を広げている。
また、録音はオーディオファンから高く評価され続けている音響ハウスが担当。
更にジャケットの撮影とデザインディレクションを手掛けたのは日本を代表する写真家、蓮井幹生氏である。
