The base for this cap is the A-3 mechanic cap, favored by US Army Air Forces mechanics in the 1940s.It was a work cap not only worn by mechanics but also favored by many pilots and crew members.The brim has multiple stitches, allowing it to be shaped upwards or bent.It seems that many soldiers at the time wore their brim turned upwards.
The fabric used is 10.5 ounce denim, the same as the TCB 30's HAT DENIM.This is a light ounce denim fabric produced with reference to vintage items.As you wear it, it will fade to a vintage-like texture.
This is a 6-panel cap.It has a round silhouette typical of military caps.
