The vintage pair we borrowed is in such good condition that the printing on the leather patch is still visible, and it is marked as 501XXC.To be honest, I have only ever seen this in photos, but as the 1930s flashers stated "The Rivet's Still There," the '37 model was the first to adopt concealed rivets.As I learned from Mr. Koizumi, the letter "C" was added to the model number to indicate that it contains "Concealed Rivets."Therefore, TCB has also named this model the 30's Jeans C.*Excerpt from the TCB jeans catalog*
