This is the S40's Jeans from TCB jeans.It is based on the World War II model jeans produced in the 1940s during World War II.During that era in America, material controls were in place, mandating the simplification of various items.The "S" in S40's Jeans stands for "Simplified," signifying this simplification.
We have decided to produce the World War II model, a request we have received frequently.When we produced the 50's Jeans in 2012, we wondered who would buy jeans made by the then unknown TCB. We are grateful that TCB now receives such requests.At that time, we were strongly drawn to the appeal of completed vintage models like the 55 or 66 models. However, as we have reproduced various models, including those from L company, we have come to be more strongly attracted to the charm and historical background residing in the imperfections of the "Simplified" models than we were before.With these changes in our perspective, we are releasing this product with great anticipation.The fabric is a new 14oz fabric produced under the new product number TCB WW2. The fabric for the World War II model is a 14oz fabric that was deconstructed thread by thread from vintage clothing and analyzed at the fiber level.The fabric has a natural unevenness created by the machine settings for blending three types of American cotton: Eastern Memphis, New Orleans, and Texas.To reproduce the stiffness that Mr. Inoue felt when he touched the World War II model fabric again, it is spun with strong twisted nep yarn and cotton leaf husk.Currently, cotton varieties with increased whiteness due to breeding are mainstream, and high whiteness is often defined as good cotton. The coin pocket omits rivets.This is a detail characteristic of the World War II model.

The pocket lining is made of olive-colored herringbone twill fabric.The specifications of the World War II model, produced under material controls, changed over the years.At that time, L company supplied jeans to the military, and their jeans used olive green herringbone twill fabric for the pocket lining.We have reproduced even the fine details.
The selvage has a pink color.This is an original TCB fabric reproduced at the fiber level by deconstructing threads from vintage garments.As you wear them, they will age and develop a texture similar to vintage jeans.
The leather patch is made of deerskin.It features the "Country Cat" label.It has a good atmosphere.
Compared to the 20's Jeans and 50's Jeans, the silhouette has a deeper rise.We also recommend these jeans to those looking for a deep-rise fit.
