The burning sensation in my chest won't stop... A forbidden × pure love human drama story
On TBS, the drama 'Middle School Seishun Diary' will be broadcast in the Tuesday drama slot for the October season. This drama is based on the manga of the same name by manga artist Junko Kawakami, which is serialized in the women’s manga magazine 'FEEL YOUNG' (Shodensha). The story is set in a rural middle school. It depicts the fleeting yet beautiful human love story of a female teacher, Hijiri Suenaga, who is attracted to Akira Kuroiwa, a mysterious and charming 10-year-younger middle school student she meets at her workplace school, despite having an older fiancé who cares for her. The story weaves a complex human drama centered around the 'forbidden love' and features a cast of unique characters surrounding the protagonist, Hijiri, creating a compelling human story. The music is composed mainly of piano pieces by Akira Kosemura, along with compositions by Nobuaki Shimizawa, who is active in anime and drama!
