The surface of the mat is processed with "Hiba Essence" extracted from Japanese cypress (hinoki) wood from Aomori Prefecture, using the manufacturer's proprietary technology. Hiba Essence contains a natural substance called hinokitiol, which has antibacterial and deodorizing effects.
