This is a craft kit for a swimming robot that uses an underwater gear box.
The rotation movement of the underwater gear box is converted into reciprocating motion with a crank arm, and the legs move up and down to swim.
Furthermore, the rotational movement is transmitted directly with a rubber band, causing the arms to rotate. By rearranging the positions of the arms and legs and the up and down of the head, three different swimming styles can be enjoyed.
A foam styrofoam float is set inside the robot's torso.
The legs are made of 0.3mm thick soft resin, which produces a moderate flexibility that helps propel forward.
Assembly is easy with screw fastening and snap-fit.
Total length = 170mm.
